I solve problems. I am constantly looking for opportunities to engineer solutions. This website will attest to my technical ability and commitment to finding solutions. My most recent experience working in a highly stressful production environment made me realize with certainty that I crave stressful situations with high stakes and tight deadlines. Where most people treat stress as something to be mitigated and balanced, I seek it out wherever possible. That ability to handle stress is part of what makes me an effective problem solver in pressurized conditions. This, coupled with my thirst for knowledge and desire to expand my skillset allows me to tackle difficult challenges thrown my way. But, I can’t do it all alone. Effective communication and leadership skills set me apart from most peers. Whenever I have the opportunity, I can multiply my ability by passionately teaching and decisively leading my team.
Although I graduate in 2026, I have taught myself many critical skills engineers use in the real world. It is clear to me that in industry, one of the biggest problems with most engineers is their lack of practical experience. I firmly believe that the best engineers work with their hands before their heads because intelligent design is inspired by practical experience. That is why I have intentionally acquired a broad set of hands-on skills ranging from welding to CNC machining to plumbing. Anybody can make something cool in CAD, but a real engineer knows how to design for manufacturing from a cost, feasibility, and timeline perspective. That is what sets me apart.
